As a Westwood resident, I can confirm that Westwood is, by and large, an extremely underwhelming party destination. UCLA has approximately 275,000 undergrads (approximate estimate based on the fact that I attended a 3,000-student college in rural Vermont), and yet Westwood Village can't support 3 bars? Seems suspect. But there's a flip side to that, which is that the area is loaded with hidden gems that would basically be horrifying frat lairs in any other college town, chief among those being the W.
