Strange as this may seem, what inspired Zooey, Sophia Rossi and third co-founder Molly McAleer to found the website was a general perception that lots of entertainment websites focus on male-oriented, subtly (and unsubtly) misogynistic content that turns off smart, creative females who need to waste time on the web just as much as guys do. I know it sounds crazy–
