Kate & Meghan Had An Awkward Lip Gloss Moment
Much has been written, discussed, and analyzed about the fraught relationship between Kate and Meghan, but Harry points to one particularly awkward moment that arose after a seemingly innocuous request.
Meghan asked Kate to borrow her lip gloss during the two couples' appearance at the Royal Foundation Forum in 2018, he recounts. "Kate, taken aback, went into her handbag and reluctantly pulled out a small tube. Meg squeezed some onto her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate grimaced."
Harry claims the press sensed a bigger issue between the sisters-in-law, and that Kate must have been "on edge" now that she was “going to be compared to, and forced to compete with, Meg.”
