Bernie Madoff, who's currently serving a 150 year prison sentence, may be one of the most disgraced names in America, but life goes on. Especially when it comes to the real estate market.
The Wall Street scammer's former beachside property is up for sale after a chic renovation by legendary architect Thierry Despont, and it's likely that the current owners will be getting a serious bang for their buck. The Old Montauk Highway hideaway boasts 1.5 acres, as well as 150 feet of pure oceanfront. With three bedrooms, an airy two-story living room, 30-foot-high stone fireplace, and swimming pool (natch), the place is simply an East End dream - despite its tarnished history.
