Working-Class Conditions

But that's hardly the worst of it.
This weekend, the New York Post published a shocking report exposing the squalid conditions of migrant workers who service the ultra-wealthy residents of the area. Among the beachfront mansions, seasonal laborers are living in homeless encampments in the woods off highways and behind abandoned gas stations.
“I work for very rich people in the Hamptons but I can’t afford somewhere to live," one person told the Post. "I am paid very little and an apartment costs too much money."
