The Montauket
A bar that could easily be voted the most beautiful dive bar in America, the Mountauket is burrowed in a cliff on Fort Pond Bay overlooking Gardiner's Island. Known for beautiful sunsets and strong cocktails, the Montauket is a gem for locals, who have described The Montauket as a favorite for 60 years. The hotel, restaurant, and bar is located on some of the most valuable waterfront real estate, but stays true to its laid-back fisherman roots. In typical dive bar fashion The Montauket has an old school jukebox, horseshoe pit, and a constant stream of dogs running around the exterior lawn.
