This feud is old and bitter. You've heard Taylor's song "Bad Blood," and you probably know it's about Katy Perry. But you probably don't know why Taylor would put so much energy and aggression into talking shit about the most harmless-seeming singer in Hollywood. Welp, for starters, Katy dated Taylor's ex (John Mayer). Rookie mistake Katy. There should be a Celebrity Handbook that advises unwitting stars to never touch anything Taylor has touched unless you want a scathing song written about you.

Even more, Taylor hired some of Katy's tour dancers for her Red tour. When Katy asked them back to her next tour, the dancers decided to leave Taylor's early to take the offer, because they much preferred working for Katy. Finally, this was all too much for Taylor, and she wrote "Bad Blood." When asked about the song's subject, she told Rolling Stone that the song was in fact about a well-known musician, and they were "straight up enemies."

After all of this, Katy tweeted "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing . . ." All but confirming Tay's trademark thinly veiled lyrical attacks were about her. Two and a half years later, Katy can breathe easy and send Kim K. some flowers.
