Turns Out This Millennial Royal Wedding Was All About An Instagrammable Moment

by Guest of A Guest · August 2, 2019

Last weekend, the world was gifted yet another royal wedding, as Louis Ducruet (the son of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, and grandson of Grace Kelly) wed his college sweetheart, Marie Chevallier. In true modern fashion, their wedding weekend consisted of two ceremonies and three wedding dresses. But, that's not all.

The groom's cousin Jazmin Grimaldi took to Instagram this morning to reminisce about the event, and, as one does, post some fancy shots of her and her boyfriend, Ian Mellencamp. The entire point of dressing up, I'm sure we can all agree. In her snaps from the weekend, Jazmin reveals how seemingly keen the couple was on creating Instagrammable moments for their guests, with a custom photo booth printing out Polaroid-style souvenirs, and a floral wall step-and-repeat bearing their names as well.

Clearly Jazmin took the bait, but we bet she wasn't the only one.
