Unfortunately, we stumbled upon this map of health department inspections of food and beverage outlets at stadiums across the country. At first, we were disturbed by the term 'mouse droppings,' but the severity of our disgust grew increasingly worse as we clicked through the locations, listed by percentage of vendors in violation. You'll freak when you see what's up at the Verizon Center.
Turns out the Verizon Center has more violations than any other arena in the country. The only other stadium with 100% violations is Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, but that was to be expected as seven of their eight stadiums were in the 75-100% violations from vendors percentile as well.
We expected more from you, Verizon Center! With VIP guests like, oh, the President and his daughter this past Monday, for example, the Verizon Center better step up its game and clean their dirty, mouse-infested act up! via ESPN
