We all know that sporting events and drinking make a wonderful union. Of course, the booze becomes problematic if consumed by the athletes, but we digress. The Soccer Mansion capitalized on the ever-popular coupling of soccer and sauce with a World Cup kick-off party last Friday.
Football patrons took one of two sartorial approaches: polished ensemble, or soccer inspired get up. We don't usually approve of such wildly disparate attire at one party, but the World Cup tends to make us forget our otherwise snobbish tendencies.

From the looks of the Lambo parked outside, next to the official Lamborghini DC banner, the Italian automaker sponsored the event (although The Soccer Mansion's site officially lists Ferrari as its Italian sports car sponsor). Hopefully whoever brought the whip abstained from drinking--it would be a shame to hurt that pretty car. Or get a DUI.
See? Sauce!
While there will only be one Soccer Mansion World Cup kick-off party (have we not yet said 'no pun intended'?), the Manse is all about football and fun, so there will be plenty more opportunities to get buck at the Meridian Park spot. But remember: once the Cup concludes, the Manse will close its doors for another four years.
