Jettie's Expands With New Bethesda Location And Bigger Menu

Jettie's, the famous sandwich shop with locations in Foxhall and Macomb, has expanded to a third location in Bethesda at 4829 Fairmont Avenue.

The opening is just in time for Bethesda residents to enjoy the fall favorite, the Nobadeer sandwich: thick slices of turkey with cranberry sauce and stuffing on sourdough bread [pictured above].

The new Jettie's will have sandwiches and salads like the other locations, and comes with an expanded menu. There will be options for hot dinner, a selection of beer and wine, and if you still have room, a make-your-own sundae bar.

Jettie's owner Bo Blair opened with a Halloween-themed day, which included free ice cream to kids that came in costume.

This is the latest in a long line of cool, preppy hangouts from Blair, many of which have subtle references to Nantucket, his home away from home. He also owns Surfside in Glover Park, Something Sweet by the National Cathedral, Bayou in Foggy Bottom, The Bullpen across the street from National's Stadium, and of course, the exclusive and iconic Georgetown dive bar Smith Point.
