Get a tan
There are three ways to get tan:
1.
Go to the beach/pool Still too cold for that. And nothing is open.
2. Get the spray tan at
Nectar Skin Bar. They use the
Chocolate Organic Sunless system, which has a beautiful natural color. There is SPF 30 in the formula, and the fact that it is organic means no funky chemicals are seeping into your skin...and isn't the whole reason we spray tan to be healthier? The cocoa beans also have antioxidants. Wear loose, dark clothes when you go and shave and exfoliate beforehand. Try to run into Adrian Avila on your way out, he does the makeup for a lot of celebs at Nectar (like Gabrielle Union and Candace Bushnell). [

3. Fake Bake. I have been going to Solar Planet since they first opened in 2007, and now they have 16 locations in DC/VA/MD. The Georgetown location is tucked away on Grace Street and has several levels of beds. I suggest their "level 2" bed, the orbit bed, for a deep tan at a decent price. They also do spray tanning but it is not organic. [
