The Washington Nationals Dream Gala 2012

On Saturday, the coaches, managers, players, and friends of the Washington Nationals all came out to attend the annual Dream Gala, a black-tie affair set out to fund the Dream Foundation's programs to enrich DC's youth through health, education, and recreation initiatives.

Guests sipped on cocktails and enjoyed the view from the Gaylord National Resort as they bid on signed Nationals merch, Tiffany's jewelry, and luxury trips around the world. In addition to the members of the Nationals team, mascots Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln joined in on the evening's festivities.

The Nats fans out there who were not able to attend the event probably tuned into Saturday's game against the Yankees. After 14 innings, the Nats were defeated but were able to dine and unwind after the tough day at the ballpark. Ryan Zimmerman and fiancée Heather Downen continued their public love affair while Bryce Harper refused to answer any "clown questions."
