Melania Speaks
Finally, in response to the harrowing week (for her, specifically), Melania addressed the public on Monday with an open letter posted on WhiteHouse.org.
Despite being "inspired" by the "passion and enthusiasm" of the rioters, she wrote, she was nevertheless "disappointed and disheartened" by the events that followed. No, not the coup attempt by literal white supremacists, but by the "shameful... salacious gossip, unwarranted personal attacks, and false misleading accusations on [her]– from people who are looking to be relevant and have an agenda."
Yes people, in light of the horrific events she and her husband pretty much incited, please take a moment to remember not to be mean to Melania. Obviously, the woman has suffered enough!
