Other details: On Sunday, January 25, Washingtonian Bride & Groom in companionship with Saks Janel, hosted the area's annual premier wedding showcase, “Unveiled.” This year's bridal show featured an exclusive runway show featuring the Oscar de la Renta bridal boutique, sponsored by the Chevy Chase Bridal Salon at Saks Jandel. From 11:30 am to 3:30 pm more than 250 brides, grooms, and wedding party members shopped, dinned, and planned future nuptials, wedding parties, and events. Along with the Washingtonian and Saks Jandel, other  wedding vendors included renowned event planners, photographers, florists, musicians and entertainers, and caterers which were all on hand to offer expert advice and make appointments for wedding services. Guests also enjoyed several open bars featuring champagne and cocktails, food tastings featuring cakes, cupcakes, mini meals, and more! At 2:30 pm, guests gathered into one of the Fairmont's opulent ballrooms to watch Washingtonian Fashion Editor, Kate Bennett present the Oscar de la Renta runway show. At the end of the spectacular show, "Unveiled" offered spectacular door prizes, takeaways, and a highly-coveted gift bag.
