Other details: On Saturday, September 27th, The Half Street Fairgrounds welcomed Sumeria and its partners for an Afternoon of sunshine, drinking, music, and food right before the Washington Nationals took on the Miami Marlins at
4:05pm (and won 5-1!). Over 200 young professionals from the area socialized and networked under the cool tent and indulged in a private three hour wine, beer, and vodka open bar alongside Surfside burritos and food. Partners such as Tuckernuck and UrbanStems lined the back wall with hats, sunglasses, flowers, raffles prizes, and coupons for all of the guests. Nonprofit partners such as New Hope Housing and We Will Survive Cancer showcased their organization and mission with picture boards, candy, wristbands, bags, and a pong toss to raise awareness for their cause. Guests also enjoyed a private cornhole arena where they could take on new friends while dancing along to the live music by the DCeivers. The beautiful
