Other details: On Thursday, February 12, CHiC Capital hosted an exclusive advanced screening of "Fifty Shades of Grey" for a Ladies Night Out at Georgetown's AMC movie theater. The event began with a CHiC Capital social/shopping networking hour, which lasted from 6:30 - 7:45 PM, with the first 200 guests receiving a swag bag filled with goodies from event sponsors such as Pie Sisters, Urban Chic, Bella Mode Intimates, Chasin' Tails, Lases by RickyVox, W Salon, and Linden Resources. Prior to the movie screening, guests were able to pose in front of the ChiC Capital step-and-repeat with Mr. Grey models from VM Faces Productions, mingle with DC VIPS as well as 107.3 radio personalities, Sarah, Ty, Mel, and Samy K, and browse "Fifty Shade" inspired products from Bella Mode Intimates. Guests also had the opportunity to win several prizes from the 107.3, as well as bottles of tequila from Exodo Tequila. The screening of the movie began at 8:00 PM and following the highly anticipated viewing, guests were interviewed on their reaction to the film by DC's WTOP and FOX 5 News. The after-tax proceeds from the advance screening went to help support two wonderful non-profit organizations: “Touching Heart," a local non-profit committed to teaching children how to be responsible citizens and empowering them to make charitable contributions to worthy causes, and “The Tigerlily Foundation," a local non-profit that is dedicated to serving the needs of women that are battling breast cancer.
