Other details: Last night Tribeca Film & Hennessy V.S screened "NAS: Time is Illmatic" featuring NAS, the face of Hennessey V.S' award-winning “Never stop. Never settle.” campaign. Hennessy has long been a fixture represented through Nas’ lyrical body of work being the premiere brand he references in his iconic 1994, debut album, “Illmatic.” DC was on hand at the Lincoln Theater to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of "Illmatic" while watching NAS' documentary journey toward self identity and his pursuit for greatness. Directly following the screening NAS wow the crowd with an exuberant performance of his entire “Illmatic” album for the audience. Following the screening, the party continued that evening at Bar 7 Lounge where guests were greeted with specialty Hennessy V.S cocktails, light bites and sounds by DJ 5’9. NAS, his brother Jungle, and documentary filmmakers One9 & Erik Parker also made their way to the Bar 7 and partied with the crowd into the night, past the bar's 3 am closing.
