On Saturday night, the Alfalfa Club, the elite DC social club that regroups about 200 members of the political and business spheres, met for its annual closed-door black tie dinner.
According to the Reliable Source, it was the Alfalfa Club's 100th annual meeting. The evening, which was held at the Capital Hilton, honored Henry Kissinger, the secretary of state under Nixon.
Guests included: Henry Kissinger, Mitt and Ann Romney (who were guests of Bill Marriott and Catherine Reynolds), Paul Ryan, Fred Malek, Jerry Bruckheimer (who was a guest of Cal Ripken), Warren Buffett, Henry Kravis, Eli Broad, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), and Xerox CEO Ursula Burns, Lamar Alexander, Valerie Jarrett, Jeb Bush, and Landon Parvin, according to Reliable Source.
President Obama skipped the dinner this year.
