SAX Lounge, known for their opulent decor, gourmet dining, scandalous artwork and the occasional celeb sighting, is launching a "privilege list" next week with a party with Belvedere on Wednesday, July 11.
The list has about 700 people on it, curated in part by the very well-connected PR guru Erika Gutierrez. Hopefuls can apply to be on the new list on SAX's Web site, but "not every applicant will be approved," Gutierrez told Guest of a Guest.
Emailed invitations were sent last week, stating:
The launch of the “Privilege List” will initiate SAX’s new door policy: allowing only those on the list and their guests to have full access to the lounge.
Belvedere's Head of Spirit Creation and Mixology Claire Smith will be at the party. She is one of the most respected authorities on vodka and mixology worldwide, and launched Belvedere’s Black Raspberry and Belvedere Pink Grapefruit macerations in 2010 & 2009.
