Interview: Fortique Founder, Stephanie Olvey, Is Paving The Way For Local Creative Talent

What’s your ultimate goal for Fortique? I think we just want to build out a brand that is highly consistent and conveys to consumers that when they come to Fortique they can trust whoever is on there. We just want to be the go-to destination for creative services in any city that we’re live in. So, people trust the Fortique brand to hand pick the best. I can’t tell you how many times that you hear consumers say “I want to find this but when I Google things I’m just confused.”  I hear start-ups all the time looking for recommendations for photographers or graphic designers. We want the Fortique brand to be positioned as that recommendation engine. If that means keeping it small, than we’re happy keeping it small. We want it to be highly curated and quality above all.
