Hors D'Oeuvres & Ambassadors CBC Reception & Afterglow
When: Thursday, September 20, 6pm-1am
Where: Patriot Strategies Rooftop Terrace, 1717 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Why: The Botswana American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. hosts this event that will honor Ambassadors to the United States from African and Caribbean nations such as Jamaica, Botswana, Namibia, and Trinidad. The event will also honor posthumously the late New Jersey Congressman Donald M. Payne Sr., who was the Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. From 6-9pm, the event will feature complimentary hors d'oeuvres, gourmet desserts, and cocktails. From 9pm to 1am, the event will feature a cash bar and have celebrity guests. Marcus Mitchell Trio and DJ Quicksilver will be providing the musical entertainment.
