On Thursday, January 29th, Connect113, home to many entrepreneurs and startup-hopefuls, welcomes some of DC’s most prominent self-made women for an evening of networking and discussion. In the same fashion as Connect 113's premiere panel, this second entrepreneurship panel will feature leaders who pursued their passion to create their own businesses. The panel will explore topics from business inception to lessons learned. The session's panelists will feature Connect113 residents Courtenay Shipley, President & Chief Planologist of Retirement Planology, Inc., Beth Lawton, Founder of Canoe Media Services, Teresa Murray, Founder of Alverta Farms, and Sherrell T. Martin, Founder of Empower 2 Thrive with Jennifer Roh, Founder of Hanuel Official, and the session will be moderated by Dreams For Kids DC founder, Glenda Fu.
The evening panel will begin at 6:30 PM at the Connect 113 building in Alexandria, VA and is open to all who are interested. During the panel, guests will be treated to cocktails and light fare, while the panelists discuss their own backgrounds, keys to their success, and how these powerful individuals founded their own businesses. After the panel, guests will have the opportunity to view the Connect 113 space as well as get one-on-one time with panelists.
Connect113 helps them manage the busy lifestyles of these success women by radiating a sense of community, bringing in both business leaders and start-up gurus—showcasing the supportive entrepreneurship culture. Want to attend the 2015 Jump Start? View more information HERE!
