Avenue Suites Launch Party

Wednesday evening, DC notables toasted the opening of West End’s newest arrival, Avenue Suites, the all-suite hotel on 25^th and Pennsylvania ave. Guests of Conrad Cafritz and Modus hotels celebrated the new venture at the hotel’s “stylish oasis” A BAR, with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and entertainment.

Although not open to the public for another few weeks, guests were treated to a special preview to A BAR’s modern-chic lounge and its equally posh outdoor terrace.

The party was electrified as DJ Neekola spun upbeat, trendy tunes and the fabulous Sarah Charness serenaded the crowd with her hot pink electric violin.

While all aspects of this venue are great, the highlight of the lounge is definitely the drink list. Beverage manager Brennan Adams, who opened the bars at Masa 14 and El Centro DF, has created a unique list of especially crafted cocktails such as a lychee sour. He informed us “I like to take the preparation aspects of food and apply it to the cocktails”. Think drink sorbets, liquid nitrogen, and even some fire!

Run by manager Sophie Penichet, the space will be open from 4pm to midnight, seven days a week. So whether you want to have fun in the sun on the terrace or dance the night away in the lounge, this new spot will be a 'suite' way to party the summer away!
