Last night marked The Capital Club's 18th annual Sinatra Soiree. Held at The National Building Museum, the Sinatra Soiree hosted hundreds of D.C.'s young professionals for a night of cocktails and carousing.
The Capital Club, originally organized as a social club twenty-five years ago, maintains a membership of only one hundred members from the Washington, D.C. area. Along with the Sinatra Soiree held every summer, The Capital Club hosts other events throughout the year, such as a Shamrock Soiree each March, and a Santa Soiree every December. These annual events for members and guests raise money to support local and national charities.
With ladies suggested dress as 'strong cocktail' attire and mens as 'Summer Ahoy', The National Building Museum was filled with women in pearls and men dressed to the nines for this year's Sinatra Soiree. All of the members and guests enjoyed and danced to music by D.C. Sinatra band Swingtown.
