Word of former ABC Bachelor star Dr. Andy Baldwin's departure from Washington, DC to San Francisco surfaced via Twitter and Facebook status updates by the doctor himself earlier this year but that hasn't stopped him from partying with DC socialites while running marathons for worthy causes....
The Lieutenant Commander was busy this weekend rubbing elbows with celebs at the White House Correspondents After parties. While some might have been recovering from the weekend festivities, Andy kept the party going on Tuesday night at the Ritz Carlton Georgetown for a fundraiser to benefit Got Your Back Network.
The dashing bachelor and his friends rolled out the red carpet for a night of pampering for the widows of fallen servicemen at the 2nd Annual Martinis and Makeovers sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue and Ultimat Vodka. In true Washington fashion, the cocktails for a cause function served as a way to give back to the troops and their families with beauty products from Clarins, Chanel and of course it wouldn't be a Georgetown shindig without Georgetown Cupcakes.
The night belonged to the wives of our fallen heros but a few Washington notables, including Dr. Mark Drapeau, Tysons Galleria marketing gal Nicole Devolites, Park Hyatt's Renee Sharrow, PR maven Wendy Gordon, socialite Pamela Sorensen, attorney Lily Mazahery and WUSA 9 reporter Angie Goff, made their way to the Ritz to donate to the cause and say thank you to the women and their families who've sacrificed so much for our country.
