On Monday night, Luigi Parasmo Salon in Georgetown celebrated its one year anniversary. Guests--many of them clients of the upscale salon--enjoyed decadent cheesecake, taco and deviled egg bites by Design Cuisine, wine, champagne, and music by DJ Steve Starks of Nouveau Riche.
Parasmo, who straightens his curly hair into his signature mohawk style every day, could not think of his favorite moment in his 365 days as a salon owner. "Really, everyday is a good day because owning my own salon has been a dream come true," he told Guest of a Guest. Parasmo shared plans to expand his salon to include a spa on the second level when the lease on the tailor shop runs out.
Parasmo got his start styling runway looks for Diane von Furstenberg, Valentino, Armani, Versace and others.
