Dining In The Golden Triangle: What's Hot, What's New, And What's Coming

The Golden Triangle is set to get more golden with two buzzed-about restaurants on the horizon. Teddy & The Bully Bar, which will be kinda like Lincoln (same owners, designer) except modeled after Theodore Roosevelt, will open sometime this year. We caught up with designer Maggie O'Neal, who was the brains behind Lincoln and the floor make of thousands of Lincoln pennies. She told Guest of a Guest that Teddy's walls will look like stone, "until you get a little closer and realize it's actually hundreds of small Mount Rushmores." Legendary NYC steakhouse STK is opening their first DC steakhouse on Connecticut much later this year. Although it joins a string of high-end steakhouses in the Triangle, STK is more of a chic lounge, and caters to females a little better with the option to order small cuts of meat and healthy sides to share.
