Take a cruise on the 8-mile trail of Metropolitan Branch. This trail extends from Union Station in the District to Silver Spring in Maryland. Enjoy and experience this smoothly paved trail by riding by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The trails goes through DC neighborhoods such as Brookland, Brightwood and Takoma Park and offers spacious lanes. Perhaps not the most scenic view with landscapes but a smooth and laid-back one being by greenery and history.
