Brothers Will and Cole Sharp changed the DC street wear scene when they made their debut in 2007 with the DURKL line. With bright colors and not-ashamed-to-be-a-hipster styles, they have made their mark on the fashion industry in a remarkably quick time. So obviously they've earned their very own Daily Style Phile:

Meet Will and Cole Sharp. The twenty-something brothers embody the chill factor their brand emulates. Even the name of the company, DURKL, was discovered in the most laid-back fashion. The brand literally got its start when one of their friend's uttered the non-word and the rest, as they say, is history.
Exhibit A:
Okay, how retro-awesome is this sweater? It reminds us of Charlie Brown for some reason, so the nostalgia factor alone makes us give our seal of approval.
And adding to the nostalgia is this great T-shirt paying homage to Winnie Cooper and The Wonder Years. We want it.
Of course, no self-respecting brand of hipster clothing is complete without the requisite pair of skinny jeans or two. What makes them special? They're red - enough said.
In DC, the clothes can be found at a shop called Place Five. DURKL carries a wide range of tees, jeans, jackets, hats and sweats. Plus they just introduced a new line of sunglasses in collaboration with SabreVision called "Psychotic Reaction", which are just awesome. Updated Wayfarers with a twist. This weekend, DURKL is hosting a downtown block party that is sure to bring out some hip guests.
