Cori Sue Morris: Hair Emergency Before Trina Turk Brunch

Cori Sue Morris is probably one of the busiest socials on the scene right now--somehow, she is able to balance her obligations with The Madisons and Bitches Who Brunch with work, marathons and training, school, dating, friends, and lots of traveling. Last weekend, she got her masters degree, hosted family in town, and threw a brunch at Urban Chic for about 50 young ladies. However, leading up to the busy photo-happy weekend, something dreadful happened...

Rushing from place to place, I opted to make a makeshift sexy side pony (inspired by Pinterest, of course). Only, my layers weren’t short enough for the desired whispiness. I grabbed a piece and I chopped. I looked down to the sink to see an enormous piece of hair– then realized that I had grabbed a fairly hefty chunk of hair and given myself bangs a la a fourth grader who got scissor-happy. I started to cry.

I suggested she go visit Neven Radovic at Nival Salon & Spa at the Collection at Chevy Chase. Neven is the top stylist at Nival (and top 10 in the USA) and handles the hair of a lot of visiting celebrities like Claire Danes. Neven was able to take a last minute appointment with Cori Sue and fix her hair with sexy layers that framed her pretty little face.

Crisis Averted!

We stopped by the brunch on Saturday to see her new locks, and nibble on bites by Patisserie Poupon, and browse the new Trina Turk collection. [photos via the Bitches Who Brunch Facebook page]
