On Tuesday night, Washington leaders in business attended the opening of the City Market at O Street, an Obama administration-backed mixed-use development in Shaw that will bring 2,400 jobs to DC. City Market at O will boast 635 residential units (including 84 set aside for seniors), a 182-room Cambria Suites Hotel, retail and restaurants, over 500 vehicle parking spaces, 300+ indoor bike parking stalls, and a 270 linear foot rooftop dog park.
The first phase of the project (the Giant and first residential units) will deliver in November 2013.
Guests of the party enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, live music by Laissez Four, gelato by City Market at O tenant Dolci Gelati and treats from Giant Food.
