The Kanchana Restaurant at the Kandalama Heritance hotel overlooks the western Sri Lankan coast-- not a bad view for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you ask us. The site featured live stir fry displays and buffet-style offerings, including fish stir fry, traditional Sri Lankan hoppers (thin, bowl-shaped pancakes filled with eggs, milk or sweet alternatives), dahl, chicken curries and salads.
