Season after season, Nicolas Ghesquière has yet to disappoint us from his throne at Louis Vuitton. He's taken the house in a decidedly futuristic direction, making cyber goths with pink hair and black lipstick rather en vogue. At yesterday's fall/winter 2016 show in Paris, the theme remained: a sci-fi mirrored set saw Blade Runner-meets-The Olympics type outfits stomp down the runway in heavy boots. Of course, recent Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander made a buzzy appearance in the front row, hardly a surprise for anyone who's been keeping track of her red carpet record (ALL LV) this awards season.
