Gabby Douglas
-16 years old.
-Born in Virgina, Gabby moved away from her family at age 14 to train in Iowa with Coach Chow, who also coached former Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.
-Nick-named "the Flying Squirrel."
-Gabby's father was able to come home from Afghanistan to see his daughter compete in the Olympic trials in late June.
- Though Gabby will be going home with two golds (team and individual all-around) she came in eighth place in this morning's uneven bar finals.
