You Should Know: Ira Drukier
Ira Drukier may shun the spotlight, but his myriad luminary New York hotels sure attract it. As an owner of a collection of hotels which includes The Mercer, Greenwich, Bowery, Pod and Chambers (to name just a few), and as a partner with people like Robert De Niro, Andre Balazs and Sean MacPherson, one could say Drukier is the "guy behind the guy" ala Bernard Arnault and LVMH.
