You Should Know: Artist Francesca DiMattio
Francesca DiMattio is a talented artist who's shown numerous exhibitions and group shows throughout the country. Her work with ceramics, acrylic paint, and sculpture is both beautiful and captivating. Francesca has been awarded the Steeprock Residency, the Terra Summer Residency in Giverny, France, and the Agnes Martin Fellowship Fund for her talent. Furthermore, Francesca's appeared in countless publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, The Londonist, W Magazine, Refinery29, Art Critical, Time Out London, and most recently, Bon Appetit Magazine in August. You might spot Francesca out at some of NYC's most exclusive events including Tory Burch's In Color Book Launch this week with fashion and art's top guests including Anna Wintour, Dustin Yellin, and Stefano Tonchi. What do you actually do all day? Work in the studio most everyday but yesterday I mowed the lawn, weed whacked and rototilled land for a vegetable garden.
