Apparently, this is becoming a pretty common practice, even though you're setting yourself up for disaster. You think, yeah, all my friends are on Facebook, why not kill two birds with one stone and just let 'em know I want to see "Drive" and there is bound to be a ton of people down.
But no one answers. Then people start wondering, does this person have any friends? Are they sitting alone? I mean I don't even know them that well, but should I offer to go?
Then you have to text your BFF with the desperate request to comment something, anything.
You may even have to delete your status.
And then you realize you have completely lost control of your life.
