Iconic New York chef
David Bouley teamed up with Yoshiki Tsuji for his latest venture,
Brushstroke. They've created a space reminiscent of a Shinto shrine. The head chef, Isao Yamada, is young and talented, known for expertise in the Japanese school of cooking knows as kaiseki
. In the main dining room, guests can chose the kaiseki-influenced tasting menu (eight courses for $85 or ten for $135). They also have a nice selection of sushi available à la carte. We're huge suckers for tasting menus, and highly recommend that you give this one a try.
