Ski! Aspen has some of the best skiing in the world, so be sure to spend at least one day on the mountain!
For non-skiiers, I recommend taking the gondola to the top of Aspen Mountain for some stellar views. You don’t have to be on skis for this experience. You can also enjoy a casual lunch at the top of the mountain or find a friend with a Mountain Club membership for a chic but boozy brunch on Sundays. I got married at the top of the mountain, so I may be biased, but I think it is a truly magical spot.
Another great non-skiing experience is the horse drawn carriage sled to Pine Creek Cook House for lunch.
If you enjoy an adrenaline rush without having to physically do much work, I recommend dog sledding in Snowmass at Krabloonik. This is truly one of the coolest and most riveting experiences I've ever had!
Architect Shigeru Ban renovated the Aspen Art Museum a couple of years ago, and I absolutely love how unique the architecture is. It's a special contemporary art museum with an incredible collection. It's also free to visit, so there’s no excuse on not stopping by.
You can totally hike in the winter, and I personally recommend hiking up Smuggler Mountain which is easy to walk or drive to from the center of Aspen town. The views at the top are sure to impress!
Looking for a massage after a day of skiing? Visit the Remede Spa at the St Regis Hotel. It is definitely the best massage in town!
If you’re the yoga type, O2 is a chic studio offering yoga and pilates classes that are perfect after a day of skiing!
