Siwanoy Trail- Pelham Bay Park
Where: Rodmans Neck, Bronx, NY
What: 3.5 miles, easy
Why: Named for the Native Americans who formerly inhabited this area, Siwanoy Trail has managed to hold onto the majority of its natural state. Hikers will travel through deep woods before the trail opens up to marshlands and finally Orchard Beach.
