Salt Flat
As far as bucket-lists go, visiting the Salar de Uyuni should be at the very top for outdoorsy types. If you go just after it's rained, you can see a breathtaking reflection of the sky on the ground (just think of the instagram pictures). The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat located in Bolivia. But if you're not willing to go all the way to South America to experience this, you can visit the Bonneville salt flats right here in Tooele County, Utah
