For the adrenaline junkie and the longer vacation types, there's Windham Mountain- snow tubing on a 650 foot long slope, ice skating, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, and for kids a mini snowmobile park and bungee trampoline. If you're going with someone, make sure you race them on the twin zip lines, which bring you 500 feet down 40 feet high. Each activity is inexpensive ($5-$20) and we suggest staying in the nearby
Catskill Lodge. The drive up is only 2.5 hours long.
