There is simply no luxury in life quite like dropping a stupid amount of money on a wastebasket. Nothing says 'Oh, I am doing very well' like tossing your trash away in a white leather basket without a care.
If the idea of having something like this gives you even a flinch of anxiety, sprinting straight to the inevitable thought that one day it will be ruined by some rogue ink smudge from a piece of crumbled paper, you are still on the journey to owning such an indulgent piece of homeware. And that's okay. Personally, I'm not there either. But as Lauren Santo Domingo once told a random person on Twitter who complemented her hair, "It's good to have goals in life."
