That's Just Rude
I was probably 19 and had a huge crush on one of my coworkers. One day he asked me to go to dinner with him after work, yay! We went to a restaurant where another one of our coworkers also worked as a waitress... and he talked to her the entire time. They started dating a couple weeks later. He totally used going out with me as an excuse to see her.
Bonus story: after they started dating, she and I were texting one night and I told her I was happy for them and he was a great guy. She just says “don’t worry I won’t tell him about your little crush LOL.” And then she did. The whole situation was mortifying.
