Sometimes, we need to take a break from celebrities and parties and fashion and the New York Media world. Sometimes, we just need to show you pictures of a grandma superhero. Because it's just too awesome to miss.-

French photographer Sacha Goldberger's 91 year old Grandmother was feeling lonely and depressed. (Oh my god, one sentence in and we're already tearing up...) So he did what any good Grandson would do. He put her in a superhero costume and took a bunch of outrageous photos of her, until she couldn't stop smiling.

Not heartwarmed enough? Frederika freaking helped hide her Jewish friends from the Nazis during World War II.

Now, she's overcome her depression and has over 2,200 friends on MySpace, thanks to the popularity of these images.

You see? Nothing can get you down when you've got a good sense of humor about yourself.

Not depression, not Nazis,  not old age, not nothing.
