Cold-Brewed Coffee Cocktails
Cold-brewed coffee can add a layer of flavor to cocktails without making them more acidic. One seminar at the Classic allowed bartenders to use coffee and liquor in classic cocktails. We love this roundup of six coffee-oriented cocktails from
Sprudge. Our favorite recipe is for the Beccacino by bartender Murray Stenson. It's an old recipe, but a highly uncommon one that we hope will make a comeback.
The Beccacino
1 oz. Brandy
1/2 oz. Benedictine
1/2 oz. Amaretto
1/2 oz. Irish Mist
2-1/2 oz. Cold Brew Coffee
Build in mixing glass and stir. Then strain into a cocktail glass and top with whipped cream. We recommend using
Stumptown's Cold Brew coffee.
