Have a little crush on your friend's college roommate? Interested in finding out a little more about a friend of your friend? That's where Hinge comes in. This dating app connects users to the friends of their Facebook friends, sending a batch of single Facebook friends of friends to users at noon every day. The app matches individuals based on their Facebook profile pictures and basic information. If there is mutual interest, Hinge sends an e-mail introduction. The app was founded in DC and launched in New York last month.
