Coffee Meets Bagel is a NYC-based dating site looking to create true matches in major cities-- but in an innovative way. Using information from users' Facebook profiles, the site makes potential matches from pools of mutual friends, or "friends-of-friends," allowing similar people who haven't met yet to make a love connection.
Why Coffee Meets Bagel:
-No browsing or scrolling. The site finds you a match based upon compatibility
-Users are not flooded with potential mates like traditional sites. You are sent one match or a “bagel” every day at noon.
-Upon receiving a "bagel" users can either pass, accept, or “give,” which allows you to send the match to another friend on the site
-If two people "like" each other, a match is made and each receive a text.
