The Best Dressed Guests: Week Of June 20th

Everyone knows that the best part about going out is getting dressed up, and the attendees at the parties Guest of a Guest covers usually do this with aplomb. Here are the people (and outfits) who made an impression on us this week…--

First Place: Alessandra Ambrosio at Follow The Sun

We feel kind of bad giving first place on this list to a Supermodel; after all, Alessandra Ambrosio could switch clothes with a homeless man and look instantly "grunge-chic". But get a load of this dress! First of all, this is probably the only time in our lives that we've liked green and purple together. The cut-out is SO hot (well, she is. But the cut-out, too), and along with everyone else in the world, we're loving tye-dye this season. The length is perfect for pool or beachside, and the halter top flattering. And, not to gush on and on, but the side-braid? The unexpectedly elegant earrings? The nude lipstick? She really isn't making it fair for all the other women in the world.

Second Place: Chelsea Paskvan at the Vogue/FSF/Tommy Hilfiger Intern Social

Black is boring, but not when it's a pretty peekaboo sheath paired with NINE (!) chunky chain necklaces. We think the overall effect is elegant and appropriate for a social work event. Extra points for what looks to be a cute clutch, her pretty shade of lipstick, and the fact that she isn't hunched over (cause 9 necklaces would totally weigh us down.) (Extra extra points for the nametag, cause it's nice to be able to shout-out by name.)

Third Place: Bow-tied and Bedazzled at PAPER Magazine's party at the SoHo Grand

Do you know how hot it was yesterday? Really hot. You know what we felt like doing? Bathing in ice. You know what we didn't feel like doing? Wearing a jacket. CLEARLY, little things like the weather don't get in the way of this man's passion for fashion. Look at all the details on this guy: an enlarged bowtie! A matching pocket square! Huge, Hepburn-esque sunglasses which he, or someone, took the time to lovingly bedazzle, gold cufflinks, and...some sort of pin! Whew!

We like your style, dude, but mostly, we're just impressed by your stamina.
